How punk is that! ahahaha
Hi, I'm Jason and this is a profile about me and my many activities... Hawaiian Express is a company started by yours truly back in 1995. I launched a record label, I organize and sponsor concerts, I created and host an online resource for bands and fans known as 808shows.com, and I do just about anything else I can to support music in paradise!!

I'm Jason... I was born and raised in Campbell, California and I became a fan of music (especially punk bands) in the mid-eighties. My success in competitive swimming brought me out to Hawaii in 1992... in fact, I was the lead leg on a relay that ranked 25th in the World that same year.
ANYWAY... Fast forward: I started a company called Hawaiian Express in 1995. I've been organizing concerts and albums ever since.
We've done records with great 'alternative' acts from Hawaii like Pepper, Jack Johnson, Go Jimmy Go, National Product, Mr. Orange Undercover, Pennylane, Olivia (the band), and many more. Way too many to list... We recently did some shows and released a DVD with punk legends T.S.O.L. so my life is now complete. (I've been a big fan since 1984).

Aloha!!!! Hey, Stratus Blue is playing Friday night at OnStage Drinks and Grinds at 802 Kapahulu Ave. from 6 to 9 p.m. This is a cool casual venue with pool table and darts. A great way to start the weekend. After we are done with our set of original rock with a taste of blues, jazz and R&B, you can have them fire up the Karaoke machine. Hope you can make it. Peace!
