   About T.i.M

TiM or TIMIZMUNE is graph designer, music composer and educator. Influenced by artists that range from Allen Ginsberg to MC Eight, Sonic Youth to Soft Cell and Kraftwerk and Lee Scratch Perry to Sizzla, TiM's on mission to express musical beautifulness and to extend the legacy. TiMs percussion laden electronic-funk induced creations show his influences reach far beyond the ones stated above. Some would describe his music as electronica or soulful experimental movements with various artists on vocals. TiMs first hand in production was with a Chicago-based group known as BRIO. Partially as an observer and occasional beat contributor, TiM began learning from the varied styles of funk, broken beats and dance tracks from DJ Steve Maestro in Chicago and appreciate the styles of other composers around the globe. Setting off on his own and catching the creative bug in the process, TiM went on to produce one EP and two full length albums: New Movements, Terminal Movements and First Movements- all under his own CultureDigital Sound (CDS) independent moniker while creating music for solo artist Michele Laws. Slowly a buzz was created amongst small pockets of audiophiles here and there; even overseas when TiM was commissioned to complete scores for Sakoba, a London-based dance company that went over quite successfully with critics of the genre. TiM continues to forge ahead, always changing and evolving while creating sonic textures and rhythms that will keep your mind and body movin’ for days to come.

Recent projects include production tracks for MC/vocalist E Reece on his latest release 'A New Breed', a revamped uptempo music project known as GroBeyond and a phenomenal new collaborative project called Lab Massiv (stay tuned for more on Lab). Making a home in Brooklyn, NY and Los Angeles TiM is currently working with other artists on experimental projects whenever the opportunity arises.
