This series is from actual "live" mix tapes(literally) to hand out during my sets at The Palace (a 4500 capacity nightclub in Boston back in the late 80's-the club is now a Lowe's Home Improvement Store-how can that happen? And now they end up as a time capsule-a club house documentary of the late 80's.

Most of this music is either record pool domestic/import 12"s centered on house music coming out of chicago, nyc and miami taking shape, creating a buzz and inspiring awe on dance floors around the globe. Sounds that surely influnced the future.

My plan is to share a new mix every 2 weeks until there aren't any more "lost mixes" Some look to the past to inform the future....
