I am a big fan of modern rock music. I also like some 80's music, modern pop, a little country, a touch of older rap/r&b and some classical music and orchestral music from such as movie scores and even some Gregorian chanting. I like Godzilla and Gamera movies. I also like X-Men, Dragonball Z, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, spiders, dinosaurs, Cryptozoology, Entomology, Ren & Stimpy, Spongebob Squarepants, thunderstorms, traffic lights and signs, fishing, bowling, fishing and watching movies. I also enjoy shooting pool.

I don't know if I really have any 'heroes'. I guess a case could be made for my mom and dad both though, as they have survived things that I know I probably couldn't have, and yet still always cared for me and my sisters. Oh yeah, and Al Bundy.

I am 29 years old and I love many styles of modern rock music. Music seems to be the one thing in life that can cheer me up and that rarely lets me down. I am a very down to earth guy who is pretty much "old-fashioned" and on my own as far as my beliefs and values go. I am also a very shy person and so that makes it harder than hell for me to meet any girls. I can have a rather sarcastic personality at times, although I try to convey it in a humorous type way. Anyways, I don't get out too much either (there is a reason for that) but going to the movies or nearby concerts seem to be my major choices for where I like to go. I love animals and enjoy shooting pool, 4-wheeling, bowling, hiking and fishing as well. I am interested in some of the more "off beat" things like cryptozoology, entomology and the paranormal. I also like studying about Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease. I am not really the common guy who just loves cars, sports and drinking beer. I am usually a very quiet but very caring person who is easy to get along with and who tries to find good in everyone, even though that seems to be where I always set myself up for major frustration, hurt and disappointment. However if you treat me with respect then you will get treated with respect back from me. Despite my obvious (but well justified) frustration with finding a good local girl who will actually attempt to get to know me, I am still anxious to talk to new people and would encourage anyone who maybe wants to talk to just contact me.

I am really wanting to find a nice, intelligent, down to earth local girl who isn't shallow and can show some genuine interest into getting to know me. I want a girl that I can really respect and trust who will actually take the time to get to know me and can at very least become a dependable friend.
