About burning flag

Five piece band, Burning Flag, play heavy, rhythmically driven, blues tinged, waves of rock. Drawing influence from Ry Cooder, Tool, Still Water, The Dead Salesmen and The Def Tones the band formed in 2004 and has impressed audiences at Pony, Melbourne, and around regional Victoria with their vivid live shows- Their growing reputation has seen the band support Regurgitator, Dallas Crane The Exploders andThe Vasco Era. Most young bands are popular with their mates; but Burning Flag are actually good too. Joel Snowden and Josh Haire, on Guitars bring riffs and ideas to the jam room where the engine room of Nigle Moyes, Drums, and Paul Cosgriff, on Bass help build the songs. Manic lead singer, Nick Murnane, likes to improvise his words on stage, but keeps the choruses and hooks set- cause the people want to sing along.
