Ted Miller Music

Ted Miller, American born and raised, and of Greek descent is an overwhelmingly accomplished singer-songwriter today. He is preparing to launch his music career in the Adult Contemporary Music Market Worldwide with his new single titled “Kiss Me.” Having completed 6 new albums with many years of preparation since his first that was recorded together with the London Symphony Orchestra at the famed Abbey Road Studios where the Beatles created the magic that spread quickly around the world, Ted is ready to see the top of the radio charts on major radio markets and has collaborated with some of the finest musicians in the world. Miller possesses the unique talent and ability to sing beautifully in many different genres and languages with his influential soothing voice, his trademark, a style of his own. Ted was first honored in the U.S. Congress back in 2001 by Florida’s esteemed U.S. Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen for the recording of a "Tribute to America" together with 150 school children from the Gulliver Preparatory School Chorus and the New World School of the Arts Orchestra. Since, he has been honored seven more times in the United States Congress, U.S. House of Representatives for his service and dedication in helping our soldiers, veterans and their families. Just this past year, Miller performed a breathtaking rendition of his Single, “Red White and Blue for Life” as part of a dinner concert where he performed exclusively for the American Gold Star Mothers National Banquet in Washington D.C. He has since been invited and honored to perform the song at a gathering for over 250,000 this upcoming Memorial Day in Washington. Ted has participated in several hundred benefit events and charity concerts over the years, many of which have included charitable events for children. Ted has also performed for many dignitaries from around the world. Back in 2007, he was invited to sing in Washington D.C. as part of the VA-NMMG series on Capitol Hill for Members of congress and veterans to honor all those who selflessly serve and have served our Great Nation. The event was sponsored by First Lady Laura Bush and was a huge success and televised Nationally. He has performed for the Directorate of Intelligence Dining-Out Dinner back in 2001, United States Southern Command, The Special Forces Operations Ball in 2007, and the United States Air Force Ball from 2004 – 2008. Ted has visited with and performed for wounded soldiers at the Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland and Washington D.C. VA. A large portion of his proceeds from his cd sales and other music related sources of income will go to Americas Life Line Foundation, a 501 c3 non profit organization, to benefit our soldiers, veterans and their families. Today many fans have been inclined to learn more about Miller's music after having heard the title track "Show Me" off the "Along the Road of Love" album finished back in 2006. “Along The Road of Love” was released on the secondary radio market first and eventually picked up by major stations throughout the country, reaching as high as 12 in the extremely competitive AC radio charts that have been dominated by artists like Josh Groban, Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Dave Mathews, John Mayer, Kenny Chesney, Bon Jovi and Michael Buble. Miller and Gil have managed to compose a fortress of songs since the “Along of Road of Love" album and since have welcomed a tremendous outpour of new fans . “Show Me” is a song many fell in love with back then, yet has never been released on major radio. It was composed by Miller together with his long time Arranger and Producer Mario Gil and Lewis Martinee. Today, many are in awe by the amount of talent and diversity that Miller has together with the incredibly talented musicians at his side, including guitarist Dan Warner who just recently finished recording a new album with Barbara Streisand and Barry Gibb. Warner, who traveled around the world with Julio Iglesias for eight years as his solo guitarist believes that Miller’s sound is exquisite and will be heard for many generations to come. Long time music consultant Mike McVay of McCvay Media, a renowned music consultant who has enjoyed the recent success of more modern artists like Josh Groban and Michael Buble believes that Miller is ready for the big leagues as a major recording artist and with enough songs commercially tailored for the AC Market already under his belt to span the globe. Ted has composed and recorded over 100 original compositions that have been registered with the U.S. Copyright Office and has recorded several hundred songs during his tenure as an artist. He is already working on a new album. His love and motivation of music came at an early age inspired by his Grandparents, immigrants of Greece who were both musicians. Today, he carries the legacy they left behind never forgetting the melodies that echoed throughout his childhood years. Ted attended school in Miami, Fl. at Gulliver Academy and Gulliver Preparatory High School then having graduated from Miami Killian Senior High School. Throughout school and his youth Ted had an amazing ear as a drummer and participated in every sport imaginable. He is a graduate of Florida’s International University with a bachelor degree in International Business and marketing. He for one year attended Farleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J. on a Tennis Scholarship. Miller grew up on his family’s tropical fruit farm in Miami, Fl. where they grow many varieties of tropical fruits native to Florida, primarily litchi fruit, what you commonly see today served in litchi martinis and in Chinese restaurants. Ted would spend summers upstate New York with his family where he and his grandparents resided for the summers. He would spend weekends back and forth from his Godmothers place in the city visiting family and friends. Ted for a while became a flower farmer as well and distributed tropical flowers to wholesalers around the country. The tractor is certainly still not an uncommon place to find him. It offers him much peace and tranquility just as the music does for now in his life. Although Ted travels to New York regularly where he has well established roots, he always plans to stay living in south Florida, where he loves being surrounded by many cultures. Miami Born and raised, Miller can be found exercising on his families farm, or in and around the beautiful sun swept beaches along Key Biscayne. His hobbies include tennis, walking and swimming and has a strong sense of passion and love for his family, friends and fans. “You can take a home away from the boy, but not the boy away from his home” He is one to certainly capture the hearts of all generations! ..
