Music is still vital to me. Playing, writing, recording remains fun so why stop? Sports is huge as well.Music
Sting is the man (even though he can be a pompus ass), Stevie Ray Vaughn, post Roger Waters Pink Floyd, K's Choice, Eva Cassidy, Black Crowes, Millencolin, Copeland, Guster (best band out there today), Metallica, and Counting Crows. If it's well written and performed with passion, then the odds are good that I'll like it. Note - Country music officially sucks. The artists (if they can seen as artists and not simply as good looking faces with identical voices) rarely write there own music and perform the material with all the passion of a slush puppy. And by the way, contributing a line to a verse or handing an idea for a song over to a professional song writter does NOT constitue being a song writer.Movies
