    ..Entertaining and being entertained by Jade. :)

    Going out to see live bands! Playing at the beach or park with my puppies! Listening to and playing music!

    ..Anything that is not commercial manufactured crap! My latest are The birds of Tokyo, Karnivool and Reverend and the Makers. Check em out! I can't stop dancing to the Fratellis and Little Barrie. I would NEVER pass up on Gomez or Muse! Some of my other favourites are Morphine (so disapointed I never got to see them live.. :(), Radiohead, The Camels, The silents, Ben Folds, Beck, The Cat Empire, The Eels, The Fumes, The Gorrilaz, The Hives, Tom Waits... this list could go on forever :-) And I always love to reminisce listening to my old grunge favs, Alice in chains, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Chilli Peppers (the blood sugar album.. don't like their new stuff much), Metalica, Nirvana etc.... Before that I was into good old 80s rock - Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Van Halen, Poison.... And of course there is also the "really old" stuff... Pink Floyd, Led Zep, The eagles etc.

  • Movies

    ..I love any movie that is a bit out of the ordinary. Everything is Illuminated, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Sin City, The Devils Advocate, Twelve Monkeys, Quentin Tarantino Movies, Jim Jarmusch movies.... again, the list could go on forever... I've also gotta put a big thumbs up for animated movies. I love 'em. I especially enjoyed Hoodwinked recently.

  • Television

    ..Not really into TV so much... Can usually find something better to do... :) a few of my favourites are Scrubs, Weeds, Arrested Development, That 70s Show, Spicks and Specks, Black Books, Corner Gas, South Park, My Name is Earl... Trouble is, it seems commercial TV doesn't like the same programs as me, and every time I start to get into a show, they take it off the air, or they start to play it at ridiculous hours... Like Scrubs at 11:30pm. I can't stay up that late on a school night.....

  • Books

    ..I love to read when I have time... I will read most types of books, but I prefer fiction... I get enough real life of my own.... :) I like Wilbur Smith, Terry Pratchett, Bryce Courtney amongst many others....

About me:

I am a first time mum to a happy little toddler...I can't believe she is almost 2!! Where did the time go??:) We have just moved into a brilliant new house that we love!! Can't wait for summer to get into the pool... I have 2 four legged children who I also adore... My two spoilt puppies Bailey and Charly... I am sure if you asked them they wouldn't agree they are spoilt, but they live a life of luxury... lucky buggers... ;-) I absolutely LOVE music.. Mostly alternative rock type stuff.. But also other random bits and pieces... I love going to see bands and am totally psyched for Homebake this year! :):) I have got 2 uni degrees.. One was fun (music) the other practical (business) and I am really lucky that I can work a couple of days a week in a job i really enjoy while Jade spends time with her Daddy and grandparents. :) Life's good. :)
