    .. ...... Omnisense was formed in 1992 by guitarists Chris Necaise and Mike Reuscher. The duo had both played around the Gulf Coast of MS in different bands (Chris/Trickery;Mike/Demise) and decided to form a partnership to create a group of local talent to destroy the Gulf Coast metal scene. The first person they contacted was vocalist Derek Rico (Skull Duggery). Derek wanted to expand his vocal parameters by incorporating vocal effects and sampling into his delivery as well as varing his vocal styles. Drummer Darren White (Trickery) was recruited on drums. Bassist Norman Roberts was enlisted for bass. The newly formed group devised the name Omnisense which is a variation on "omniscient", which means "all knowing ", the name Omnisense means "all sense or all feeling". The name although different was a perfect fit. The group began practicing but needed a shake up. Drummer Joel Stepp and bassist Cliff Paulk (Skullduggery) were brought in to help. With the new line up the band dove into writing songs and began performing shows around the Gulf Coast to great responses. The final piece to the puzzle was drummer Mike Anglin(Neuro-Damage). Mike was brought into the band to form the final lineup of Omnisense. This is the lineup that solidified the band. Omnisense made four recordings over the next four years. They performed countless shows from Florida to Louisiana, receiving accolades along the way. In 1995 the band all went there separate ways, Chris went on to form System Red, Killing Mercy and Drag the Lake, Mike Reuscher formed The Sedative, Mike Anglin played in System Red and Merry Go Drown. Derek still produces his own music and Cliff no longer performs professionally. Unfortunately in May of 2006 Mike Reuscher died in a car accident. I decided to build this site as a tribute to the music Mike and I wrote and the great lyrics that Derek wrote. I plan on remastering all of the old music and releasing a cd for all of the fans of Omnisense.
