Steven Smith is known for getting people to talk who don’t like talking to anybody.Live, scripted, unscripted, in front of an audience, in-studio or out, on the red carpet, in a suit, or even a tutu, Steven is that brand of on-air personality who makes his guests feel at home no matter where they are and all with the sensibility of a late-night talk show host. Even during the day.

Following Download, Steven was awarded his own daily program: Steven’s Untitled Rock Show, which ran an amazing 700 episodes. He also hosted The Sauce, Fuse’s daily live show talking to award-winning entertainers like Adam Sandler and Jerry Bruckheimer as well as performing in The Sauce’s comedic YouTube music videos. He was the host of the music magazine web show the Myspace Music Feed which added superstars Brad Paisley, Rob Thomas and Lady Gaga to his interview roster. Iggy Pop referred to Smith as “the slightly endearing TV host” and Steven feels that’s a flattering and accurate compliment–although it’s still up for debate which one of them has better abs.
