Bio:

Born in Beaumont,TX Manny D moved to Sarasota, FL when he was 4 and then moved to Bradenton,FL when he was 10 and has been there ever since. A straight up dirty south boy, he started rappin in middle school and really started pursuing it in high school when he came across Lastings Milledge, now a New York Mets baseball player and Manny D's manager. Music was put on the back burner because he had an aspiring career in football. An All-State running back who has set school records that will never be broken, went to an NAIA school due to problems that were kept underwraps to continue his football career. There he continued rapping with other artists from states such as California, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas, and Florida. After two years he left college due to personal reasons and hooked back up wit Lastings Milledge. With a promising career ahead for Lastings he stated "Manny D get some songs done because I got some people that wanna hear you and get you out there." Manny D never turned back and is now in negotiations with several record labels. With his original sound and style of rap he is cappable to sell in the west,midwest, and he already has the North behind his back. Influenced by hisself, Manny D has a natural sound that puts him n a category by hisself which he is tryin to do. Lastings stated, "To be honest not sayin this because he is my artist but I dont think anyone can fuck wit Manny D on the mic otherwise I wouldn't be puttin all this money behind him. I mean he is a unknown rapper and really hasn't proven himself but thats because I always told him not to get on no one songs and wait for me and thats what he did because I told him ever since high school we was gone do this and now we making it happen. Thats loyalty, and he has alot of it. He is very loyal and humble but he's a cocky mothafucka. He aint no big time gangsta thug dope dealer whatever yall wanna call it and he doesn't act like he is nor talk about it in his songs. Everything he says in his songs is the truth and thats what I really like about him and the fact that he writes his own music because alot of the rappers you see on t.v. dont write there own music and if you in the game as deep as we are you would kno that. He's my first artist and he's gone pave the way for upcoming artists out of Bradenton and Soulja-Boi Records is going to be a force to mess wit and thats real! I will put any amount of money up on him because I know what he can do and niggaz down here in the south aint doing what he doing, if you hear him freestyle i mean he crazy and he dont care what he say because he is real wit it and I respect him a whole lot for what he does." While back at home Manny D hooked up with Luda aka A.E. who came up wit Soulja-Boi Records, who started it as a local label with his group GMC(Get Money Click), and Manny D hasn't stop ever since. With Lastings being the CEO, the label has already drop there first mixtape "Tha Come Up" and are now in the studio gettin ready to release Vol. 2. With there variety of talent and mixture of styles Soulja-Boi Records is promising to be up there with the big dawgs in the industry, makin a name for themselves and being a force to mess wit. With Manny D about there, and with Sony behind his back, soon his single will be on your local radio stations. With Manny D's lyrical style of rappin and crazy punchlines, the texas style mixed with a little bit of florida style rapper is soon to blow up and be right along with the top dogs in the game now! .. ..
