After touring with the influential Latin Rock group Malo for the past five years, Jay has undergone many changes (both musically and personally). Now Jay has embarked on a solo career in music. With all new original music, Jay sees no end in sight. Coming from many musical backgrounds, The Jay Rossette Project is a mixture of many different influences and musical styles..... Throughout his career, Jay has shared the stage with many legendary acts,including Tower of Power, The Gap Band, War, Tierra, El Chicano, Thee Midnighters, Heatwave ("Always and Forever", "Boogie Nights"), The Manhattans ("Shining Star"), The Intruders,Barbara Lewis ("Baby I'm Yours), Zapp (of Zapp and Roger), Poncho Sanchez, Little Joe y la Familia, as well as touring with up and coming artists such as Country Singer Dave Aguallo, Jazz Saxophonist ..Jeanette Harris.. and Electronic Rockers ..Shotgun Radio....... Jay has also appeared as a member of the Pacific Concert Group house band, which is a touring network highlighting many old school artists at arena venues.....While not touring with such groups, Jay has been seen lending his talents to Central Valley favorites The Super Lucky Catz, Mezcal, Reggie and the Mighty Statons, Chamba, as well as bay area party band The Mike Torres Band (MTB). Jay has also been featured on various recording projects by different artists. ............
