Hi, my name is Garth Rafacz aka Bit Mummy. i am a composer of the electronica genre of music. To make my music I use keyboards,classic video game consoles,guitars, computers,turntables,kaoss pads and many other random obscure instruments. Since my first bit mummy release (invisible universe) in 2003 i have released a full length lp (mario's mushroom) two eps (8 bit love/passwords), been on two compilation cds, played shows all over the eastcoast and mid northern u.s., and have made a name for myself in the elctronic and chiptune music scene.
I also make music under other aliases such as g. trash, g. mummy trash, dj dustman, bit vicious, and video mummy. I also am a part of a few different musical groups. I have my band Video Mummy that i write songs and sing for. I dj for pa/oh hip hop groups such as King Nasty, The Gemini Projekt, and Insane e. Most recently i joined a group called Super 8 Bit Brothers from Chicago il.

I don't do the whole holiday thing but I just got home from heading over to Office Depot as a favor for my aunt. Two and a half hours to buy a fax machine >.< Fucking capitalist consumerism is -crazy- dude... you would not believe the amount of people that were out there shopping... lines completely around the buildings. I was there a half hour early and the line was back at the loading down behind the building when I got there.
