8 off 8th, Nashvilles premiere writers night where you never know who will show up and you never pay a cover! Sound familiar? It should. Former 12th and Porter booker and co-originator of famed Nashville writers night, 12 at 12th, John Bruton made the move to Flashpoint Entertainment and the Mercy Lounge. With him he has brought back this much loved and missed writers night. 12 at 12th was a terrific entry point into the Nashville music scene for unknown artists as well as a place where well known artists could come out and have fun withfriends and peers in alow pressure environment.
Nickel Creek, Kings of Leon, Mindy Smith, Patti Griffin, Wang Chung, Peter Wolf, Keith Urban, Marc Broussard and many more played the 12 at 12th writers night and now we bring the same concept to 8th Avenue on Monday nights.
