We want to promote awareness about an issue that effects everyone in NYC. We all can be more prepared for an emergency, by planning ahead. Hurricanes, Blackouts, Fires, Flash Floods all have effected New Yorkers at one point or another in recent years. Let's all be ready next time and put the odds more in our favor.
This premier festival is a joint project of Filmaker/Promoter Ellis Peters and Downtown Multi-Genre artist Honeychild Coleman (Badawi / AFROPUNK / Sistagrrl Riotts). It will feature a variety of signed and unsigned Dub, Rock, Noise, Hip Hop and Pop acts from multiple boroughs of the city. The theme of this year's festival is Public Safety and Emergency Readiness.
