Background Info
Mark and Dave had known one another for several years and would meet together every so often for a simple Drum and Guitar jamming session. It was never anything serious, just playing covers here and there. George and Mark knew eachother through school and when George had taken up Bass a few months prior Mark decided upon inviting him along to one of his and Dave's jams. It was obvious from the first practice that the three "gelled" well as a band and 8 Score Draws was formed from that point.
It wasnt until half a year into the bands life that producing their own material was considered. "Fall Today" was the first 8 Score Draws song to be created in February '06 shortly followed by "Mr Spider" which is now, in a way, the band's signature song.
The band is currently in the process of recording new material at a local studio. We will keep you updated.
Hi there, just dropping you a msg to let you know what we do. Sugar House Music is primarily a production label working on band demos through to record label releases. We are also currently signing acts to production/management/artist referral deals to help further bands we feel of potential, by working on every aspect of the band, from songwriting, production, recording and passing the act onto our list of industry contacts.
As an offshoot of this, we also have a record label to release bands we like that we haven't produced a recording for.

Tomorrow, fresh from touring with Hadouken and also The Streets (he is on Mike Skinner's 'The Beats' label) we have two shows at Stealth Nottingham for EXAMPLE. Featuring on the current front cover of Hip Hop magazine and everywhere else right now - catch him quick!
The idea has changed for the battle of the bands, the battle is open to everyone, everyone gets to take part. post your band name on the blog and i'll update it as soon as possible.
All entries must be given before the 1st November, This is when the poll will be put on our myspace front page. the top 15 bands will be picked on the 25th of November and the votes will be re-set, These bands will take part in a selection of gigs to score more votes and the three winners will get a chance to play in Virgin Megastores in Leicester, on a Saturday afternoon. The TOP winner will get a FREE photoshoot by one of our profesional Photographers either in a studio or on location.
