About 8 to the Bar

8 to the Bar was formed in 1997 as Drexel University's first A Cappella Group. Their members' majors range from engineering to pre-med to music industry to computer science etc...but it's the love of music that has brought them all together.

8 to the Bar performs all over the mid atlantic, but mostly in their home town of Philadelphia.

They sing mostly contemporary music covers but love to lay down a baseline and vocal jam on the fly!
