The Reverend Spadge Dooley Has just come out of hospital and is feeling much better... He don't wanna go back there though. . .
In celebation of his desanitorianisation he's put up some new tracks which you may download - leave a penny in the collection plate.

Spadge blessings and accidental blessings.

Hi Ant, hope all is well with you. I was pleased to see the back of the diving Portuguese chap but I guess you not so... Still a Brockworth boy? Take it easy there.

Dear friend
We are so happy to announce

NEW ALBUM IS OUT NOW!!!

Our new album "Herbarium" is out now on CdBaby (MP3 so far, physical CD is on its way).

Diverse palette of styles (post-rock, ambient, electronica, trip-hop, with elements of noise, dub, neoclassic and free improvisation), united by cinematic, slightly pensive mood.

«Herbarium» is called so because of heterogeneity of «songs», which can be compared to miscellaneous leaves in the album, still being belonged to the family of trees. Trying to avoid non-alive metaphors here, only thought of diversity and warm and innermost feeling that herbarium is capable to conjure up. «... This leaf I picked up in the park where I met her, and this - I sat by the river, contemplating...». So tracks were created – one was captured in some magic jam, another – recorded layer by layer and meticulously mixed then, next – cut from previous sessions and so on.

All compositions are united by Poostosh sense of music – mostly pensive, spatial, tender and experimental. There's a lot of soul and charisma in every leaf... So please let your soul look over our HERBARIUM.

Book tickets here.

One of the highlights of the Vortex London Jazz Festival – TIME OUT

Featuring Fyfe Dangerfield (from Guillemots), Gannets posit an alternative jazz history in which 30's swing developed straight into a combined form of the free jazz and fusion movements, without any of the intervening decades.

Fyfe Dangerfield - keyboards + electronics
Alex J Ward - clarinet
Christopher Cundy - bass clarinet
Dominic Lash - double bass
Steve Noble - drums

Hello anyone who happens to be out there.

There are three new Dooley tracks up on the player, being, in descening order, Twingly, baby talbot and Loolaby. All rather gently pieces - with the occasional kick-bottom beat thrown in.

Do come and have a listen why dontcha, leave your comments and messages and a small cup of milk for the hedgehog.

Spadge Love and Accidental Blessings to you one and all.

Just wondering if you ought to check out Foist's new and quite varied selection
A trip-hop tribute to Chilean folk hero Victor Jara by Helium Dealer...
debauchery and much more in the monologue Gerrard Burridge: Memoirs of an Englishman In Spain...
a nifty little funk-punk number from new Foist signing Adult Playroom. First time we've recorded sax too, on Bang Bang Busy...
lastly, some cowpunkabilly favourites from The Shandy-Leers

I am Dooley, hear me roar!
The Church of the Awesome Machine Accidental is proud as punch and pleased as green peas to announce the on-line release of its first new material for some time.

The Adams Town EP features:

Why Do You Find It Hard To Sleep, Apple Eyes, Duff Cog, Happiness Hurts, Drone A, and Yet Another New Low.

As it is traditional in music circles to opine that one's latest work is one's greatest work, The Reverend Dooley is pleased to do the same.

Starting out, as usual, as songs with words, lyrics and or notes to these songs are available on the blog with invitations to collaberate with Dooley, Hyp-Gnosis, Space-Face and all their fictional pals.

The Reverend Spadge Dooley has now left the building wired with demolition charges - make your peace with whomsoever you wish to.

Spadge Love and Accidental Blessings to you one and all.

Cardiff, January 2008.

Body: Life is but a scream, as someone once sang, but the Reverend Spadge Dooley has returned to his roots to release a set of oldies onto his myspace page showcasing his original modtastic, sixties pop inspired instrumentals.

So, here be:

Start the Awesome Machine,
The Liar's Song,
Shepherds Hill and,
Accidental Blessings.

All free to download too.

The Reverend Dooley is in a lunacy of what he is pleased to call creativity, and you may call what you wish.

The upshot of said lunacy is the rearranging of the space into the definitive version of THE MUSWELL HELL EP:

GREEN TUNNELS / ANOTHER NEW LOW / MAID OF MUSWELL AND SCOBIE'S LAMENT

Reverend Dooley believes this to be his strongest and most realised work to date and urges listeners to play it as loud as possible, on headphones to get the best effect.
