About me: 91.7 WEEM-FM is Central Indiana's premier station for new rock. In keeping with the tradition of non-commercial broadcasting, 91.7 WEEM-FM seeks to support the achievement of developing artists and songwriters who would otherwise go unheard.
91.7 WEEM-FM was born on November 1, 1970 as a 10 watt FM station. In the early 80's the power went up to 1,200 watts, covering roughly 20 miles.
91.7 WEEM-FM reports its weekly top 30 most played current albums to the CMJ Radio 200 and Triple A charts.
