Armin : "Kandi's very hot at the moment! How he can produce it in Reason I can't understand!?!".
Daniel Kandi is undoubtably one of the biggest upcoming trance producers to emerge from Europe.
Above & Beyond was quick to react to Daniel Kandi's VERY first demo, and signed it straight away. “Breathe” became Daniel's first single on one of the successful Trancelabels called Anjunabeats, and charted high on various onlineshops and got canned by Above & Beyond, Judge Jules, Armin Van Buuren, and many more. Breathe, Child/Nova, Make Me Believe/I Found The Way, Turnmills/Soraya all took top 5 and top 10 placements on the Trance Charts online, and gained support from the biggest names in the business.
Gigs in Godskitchen@Poland saw him spinnin' for 7000 trancelovers, playing alongside Sander Van Doorn, Above & Beyond, Dubfire, Marcus Schossow, and Marcel Woods! He also played in London at the now closed and legendary club The Gallery @ Turnmills alongside Super8 & Tab and James Grant.
2008 has been the break for this young producer, and during the year, he will play alongside Above & Beyond, Super8 & Tab, Sander Van Doorn, Aly Dubfire, Jon O'Bir, Fedde Le Grand, Airbase, Aly & Fila, Marcel Woods and many other top jocks.
Future gigs include the Anjunabeats 100 party @ Syndicate, Blackpool, Club-Rehab @ The Arches in Glasgow alongside Jon O'bir and Re-Ward, and the hugely anticipated polish version of Global Gathering with more than 20000 people attending (June 7th!).
The Remixes
Besides doing great with his own productions, Daniel Kandi is also known for being a very consistent remixer. The support for his tunes in 2008 has been massive, and the text underneath is the proof.
Luke Warner & Mat Lock - Deep PsychosisDaniel Kandi's Cure Mix entered the ASOT radioshow with promising words from Armin. The week after it was also earned TUNE OF THE WEEK, and the week after FUTURE FAVORITE, and even played on ASOT 350 live from Belgium. Even before that, it was a tune that got many "what is this"-requests during Armins last US-tour..! Suddenly back in the top 20 on Beatport.com more than 4 months after it's release, Armin Only made alot of new people, aware of the tune.
Andy Blueman – Time To Rest (Daniel Kandi’s Bangin Mix) got alot of great support on A State Of Trance with Armin van Buuren and he even canned it at Armin Only 2008 in Uttrecht infront of 20000 people. It also reached top 5 on most onlineshops, and also seemed to prove that sawtrance with the right power, can still succeed.
Masters & Nickson - Out There (5th Dimension) [Daniel Kandi's Bangin' Mix] has been one of most of anticipated remixes from Kandi, ever since it aired last winter on ASOT. Hailed a top3 tune from Daniel Kandi's own production by most of his fans, it just received further positive words, when it got 5/5 in the DJ Mag Review. Alex M.O.R.P.H. also reviewed the track as "Absolutely fantastic! 10 out of 10!". Already climbing up the charts to no. 1 on Audiojelly.com, due to the massive support from Armin Van Buuren, Alex M.O.R.P.H. and ATB. It seems to become one of the summertunes to enjoy for sure.
Kiholm - Fragile (Daniel Kandi's Emotional Mix) is yet another firm remix from the danish guy. Producing the remix for his fellow countryman, he tried to keep the emotional melody and add a darker touch to the tune. Armin van Buuren seemed to like it straight away and gave it a spot on ASOT 352 and back to back Record of the week / Web Vote Winner on Trance Around the World with Above & Beyond. The track has already received great vibes on most of the forums, and with it's release on June 10th, expect it to grace the charts in style, and the parties as well.
Work In Progress
Daniel is also currently working on tracks for a future album, plus collaborations with Robert Nickson, Simon Patterson, and ****. The collaboratings with Robert Nickson seems to become a more frequent event in the future, since their friendship in the studio spun magical tunes at Daniel's first visit to The Netherlands. Besides those mentioned, a new Daniel Kandi single should be in the works for Anjunabeats. More info on those tracks soon!

The radioshow "Always Alive"
Between the string of productions, he also finds time to do his radioshow on afterhours.fm. The show is called “Always Alive with Daniel Kandi”… Broadcasting every 2nd and 4th MONDAY, the show has now expanded to a 2 hour show due to it's popularity. The new structure of the show will allow alot of promising guestmixers, already having had Super8 & Tab, Mike Shiver and next week the upcoming star Sebastian Brandt on episode 30 (June 9th). More radiostations will soon be broadcasting it, for the continued growth of the show. Here are the timeslots for the show near you!

I read afterhours forum when you played your set for second anniversary of that radio. And someone asked you about ,,Ways of Nimbus" mashup and You said that will be released after 7th June. But I still don't see this mashup on beatport or audiojelly... So Daniel, when it will be released? :) Please reply, and sorry for my english :/
