Welcome to 924 Gilman's Thursday night booking page!
Thursday night booking at Gilman takes place here, and Thursday night bookers JAY, DANNY, & JOEY can be reached via this Myspace page or by leaving a message at 510-524-8180.
Note: Thursday nights at Gilman are not the place to get your bands booked, unless of course you are an all acoustic band. To book your punk, hardcore, metal, industrial band, please visit the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night show booking page.
Thursday night booking was created in the summer of 2007 as a way to utilize the 924 Gilman community space in ways different from the traditional hardcore, punk, and metal shows the club is known for. Priority is going to be given to the local community here in Berkeley,CA (and the East Bay), but ideas of all kind will be considered. Please write or call us (Thursday nights between 7pm-9pm)to learn more about what we're up to.
The 924 Gilman Street Project a.k.a the 'Alternative Music Foundation', is an all-ages, non-profit, collectively organized music and performance venue. We do stuff on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We are located in North Berkeley, about 1 1/2 miles from the North Berkeley BART station, at the corner of 8th St. and Gilman. We strive to provide a violence, alcohol and drug-free environment. We will not book or support racist, misogynist, or homophobic bands or performances.

rowdy rail-car...

Hey my friends: Let's do a series of film showings on Cafe nites to air: "The Power of Nightmares" by Adam Curtis (subtitled The Rise of the Politics of Fear) which was only aired in UK (2004) but never picked up in the US. It's 3 one-hour segments and quite good.
Also, Michael Ferranti narrated flick "The 4th World War" ~ 2hr.
Please let's pick a Thurs. eve to show these timely and relevant docus soon. Thx. Peace, --Chris Hall
