January 1rst, 1928. Temperatures in the mid to low 40s. Benjamin Freiburger discovered rock and roll in a petri dish that had been accidentally left out of the refrigerator and allowed to rot, containing chemical compounds originally designed to cure the epidemic, hysteria that caused young girls to do the can-can all weekend. Ironically, it was this can-can craze's complete and total domination of the pop scene that forbade Ben from being able to get some rock on the airwaves. No one "got it". The can-can was left uncured. So Ben made a time machine and jumped forward to the year 2194, where he found Abby Posner who, at the age of 16, had left Colorado and risen to the height of warlord princess in South Asia. Having gotten "all she could" with her gang of pillaging marauders, Ben kidnapped the despot, convinced her to try playing drums, and the two jumped back in time to 2005. Abby and Ben bought some beer at a liquor shop in Van Nuys, CA. They were waited on by Grant Wheeler. Ben and Abby cloned Grant and taught the clone to rock the bass and left the real Grant working in the liquor store -- where he still can be seen to be working today -- 'cause they thought it would be "funny". So Ben, Abby "the Oppressor"(circa 2194), and Grant clone 2 (the first one came out with wrong parts) formed THE PAPER TIGERS and taught the world rock and roll. It was later explained to Ben that between 1928 and 2005, others had already done this ad nauseam. Ben's response was "Oh, Poo". But they continue to teach rock all the same and are about to record their second album which is destined to bring about the end of time itself. The end? ..
