Interests

General
I love military history, no I really mean that. I just can't get enough of that good old military history. All trips, heck, a huge amount of my life involves the study of my passion. Guns. I am shameless Canadian gunnut. I don't care what other people think I enjoy firearms. Hell, I got enough to prove that. I am a proud Canadian member of the NRA. Also I love the outdoors and mucking around in boats, which I plan to buy one.
Music
I love Weird Al, yes even after all these years I still think he is the greatest singer/song writer EVER. I also enjoy classical, movie sound tracks, military songs and of course show tunes.
Movies
Well here is the list Red Dawn: I just adore this flim. Saving Private Ryan: Best WW2 Land Warfare flim All Quiet on the Western Front: The orginal is just great Das Boot: Love it All Star Wars Flims: and yes I mean all Star Trek flims except 5 and up to 5. Wrath of Khan is still the best Under Siege: Very silly, but well shot and acted. Longest Day: A classic Gettysburg and Glory: My fav Civil War flims Spinal Tap Gangs of New York: Only wealthy write history, but the real story often went unwriten.
Television
I enjoy the Simpsons, Family Guy and most of TLC, History and A&E programing. I pefer my TV to be educational and enriching, not a stupid fest. However, I do enjoy watching Jerry Springer, espically when the Klan is on.
Books
Most of reading is centered on my love of military history. I pefer my books to be as detailed as possible. I end-up paying for that too.
Heroes
