Exploring the dance scene since 1998, De-Gen always knew there was always something more than just going out weekend after weekend. There was a vibe...a culture to be experienced.
In 2004, De-Gen continued this passion as your garden variety promoter, working in clubs and big events, meeting and greeting everyone possible, and getting heads in doors.
2006 sparked a new era as the ASMT DJ course showed him how to create the vibe that has been felt for so long.
From then on, De-Gen has put his unique (and energetic) skills to good use on the stage, playing to everyone he sees, making the boys move and the girls groove, and never just playing a set.
Now after playing at countless events such as Bass, Bassstation, 3D, Kryal Afterparty, Ground Zero, and smashing DJ Comps (both semi and grand finals), De-Gen is showing his true colours. De-Gen now holds a partial residency at the highly acclaimed 3D in Melbourne and has released numerous albums, each one different and unique, and exploring different genres to create that edge. The next page in the chapter is of course production where he will put his knowledge and passion towards life to good use to create smashing tunes for the world to enjoy.

Playing everything from Trance, Hard Trance, Uplifting, Hard House, Hard Dance, Psy, Prog, and even House and electro, he is showing that versatility is the key to stay interesting.

If of the off chance I have not met you yet, pleased to meet ya. I am Dave (De-Gen).
Need an ear when you are down? Need a laugh when you need a laugh? Need a mate when all other people have turned into assholes? you may just have come to the right place. Trust, respect, unity. All that shit has to come into play.

Embrace life...take it by the hornys. Man life is good tho. Love work, love my girls Karia n Kymmy, and love either hittin the dance floor, or making one move. Share laughs, love making friends, make love with friends, whatever rocks your boat! Do what you believe! Enjoy a good dance every so often too...thats important

Who I'd like to meet:

Any person I have not had the opportunity to meet yet. Each person carries a valuable asset that no-one else can own...their own life story.

Apart from that, there are a few fellow DJ's that I have not yet had the privelige of meeting. Yoji Biomehanika, Alex Kidd. There of course are many more. I am not a groupie, I just appreciate the hard work they put into their production, and would love to hear their life story too and learn about their inspirations to give them those tough beats floating around in their noggins.
