About me:
This site is intended for those people who graduated from Edwardsville High School in 2001. It is a way for me (site coordinator and class secretary Sherry L) to keep up with everyone for a class reunion coming in 2008. For those of you who can't do math - that's a 7 year reuinion--not the traditional 5 or 10 year. I took a general consensus and 5 year is too early, 10 year is too long and seven year was just right. ~JaMiE~	May 9 2007 6:52 PM In just 2 days you can come join in and lend a helping hand!!!!! Tell everyone you know!!! There will be food, drinks and entertainment by 4 Wheel Drive May 11th from 6:30pm-12pm at the Edwardsville KC Hall!! There is a cover charge of $10 that will include a buffet and entertainment we will also have a 50/50 drawing and silent auction! Bobby Loughran is 12 years old and was diagnosed in September with Aplastic Anemia. His body is basically rejecting his own bone marrow and there is no reason why. He spent the first 21 days after being diagnosed in the hospital. Now he is at home, unable to attend school or go out in public and goes to the hospital a few times a week for blood tests and a lot of times transfusions. He is unable to keep his blood count up because his bone marrow is unable to produce it. Bobby used to be a very active child; he played many sports and was always on the go. It is really becoming a realization that he may never be well enough to play sports or be a normal preteen or teenage boy. He has been amazing through it all. Always positive! Always ready to face what is next! It is a lot for a 12 year old to take but he has done better than anyone could dream. But as parents, Bill and Valerie need help. They need to be able to concentrate on making there little boy better. Not worrying about the mountain of medical bills. Valerie is now unable to work as caring for Bobby is full time job. So please come join in and lend a helping hand for Bobby and his family!!!
