He met Joe at Westminster where aged 14, the pair began making videos to amuse friends. He went to art school after a while where he continued making video pieces that eventually helped score him a first in sculpture. .... Joe Cornish was born and brought up in London, educated at Westminster School and studied as a writer/director at Bournemouth Film School. After graduating in 1989, Joe worked in film production, while continuing to write and produce his own material with school friend Adam Buxton. .... In 1995 their submissions to Channel Four's 'Takeover TV' lead to them being offered their own entertainment show. 'The Adam and Joe Show' featured satires of contemporary pop culture, and was entirely written, directed and performed by Adam and Joe. They made four series. .... Projects Adam and Joe were involved in after The Adam and Joe Show include 'Adam and Joe's Fourmative Years' in 1997, which saw them celebrate 15 years of Channel 4 by ridiculing its past programming. 'Adam and Joe Go Tokyo' followed in 2003, a series for BBC 3 which saw them investigate culture in Japan, and try to make themselves famous there (with limited results). Biography:
