I wish I'd been able to make it to the Q&A but the line stretched outside and around the hotel and I had a writer's thing I wanted to do so I skipped it. Ah, yes, still editing! Hopefully I'll be done with that today, have one more scene to write tomorrow, and then I just have to re-read everything. I'm glad you enjoyed my stories about my critters! Thanks honey! I haven't found a home for her yet but we're still looking. Meanwhile she's sort of taken over the house. My other cats are not very happy about it, but for the most part they're dealing. She doesn't seem to mind them at all and I wish I could say it was vice versa. We've had a few spats but I don't worry about them when my Australian Sheperd is in the house because she's our "hall monitor" and she won't tolerate a cat fight. I still put the new kitty ("Patches") in the laundry room at night though, so that we can ALL sleep well and not have to watch our backs! Little Patches is such a great cat-- more like a dog than a cat, really-- but lord I hope she doesn't end up staying. I need another cat like I need a hole in the head!! LOL...
Yes she is a new member of our little family. My brother and his wife have got her for JD because he missed Sophie. I think she's a bit of a handful at the moment lol

No, it's not silly at all! I feel that way about New Year's too. I certainly hope that this year is better than last. Other than work, everything else sucked pretty badly! I can't take another year like that!! LOL... so I'm going to make this one be better.
