Movies
Any superhero movie and those bad (but awesome) movies on the sci-fi channel. You know, those cheezy movies with the bad special effects.....
Television
I like "Prison Break" and "Ghost Hunters", but I especially love sports. I will watch anything on TV that even resembles sports....like even women's softball.
Books
I really want to read the Harry Potter series, and I just bought my son the whole Chronicles of Narnia collection. I do, however, love to read the classics. The Three Musketeers is one of my favorite books.
Heroes
My heroes include Jeff Kirk (my sax teacher), my parents, and Brother Fred (my pastor).
I am a professional saxophone player and currently tour with Denver and the Mile High Orchestra. We are just off a pretty successful stint on "The Next Great American Band" which aired on Fox over the last couple of months. If you don't know much about us, DMHO has been around for 9 years, and I have been around every step of the way. If you want to check out the band, go to our myspace page!! I also do miscellaneous gigs in Nashville, and I actually pay the bills by directing the bands at University School of Nashville. Fun, fun....5th through 12th grade students with noise makers in their hands!!
I also have just been promoted to the position of Department Chair for the Performing Arts Department. Tons of responsibility but a great opportunity to begin doing work in administration.
My home time is occupied with my absolutely perfect boy, Brighton!!! He is two years old now. Watch the most recent video of DMHO from The Next Great American Band's Final 3 show!!!

Who I'd like to meet: I really set this page up because I am meeting a ton of interesting people on the road and it seems that everyone has myspace....go figure!! I really love getting in contact with fans of DMHO and lovers of jazz. I also am in to meeting those of you who are professional educators and who love to exchange ideas about how to teach children. Trust me, it is a daunting field!!!
Just dropped by to say Hi Chris. Hope God is blessing you. I was reminded of you when I did a gig with a Soul band in the North East of England last weekend. The Australian sax professional next to me played his solos in a way that reminded me of you. Anyway, hope you are well.
Forgot to mention when talking w/ ya today... read a book called "The Shack" its amazing and hits on a lot of we were talking about. So good to be in contact more regularly again! Thanks for being such a great friend! Talk to you soon! Blessings & love.
