I don't watch much TV These days, but when I do, I'm definitely Not a Fan of Staged Reality TV. If there were good enough TV shows out there that were well written, unique, creative and thoughtfully produced, then people wouldn't have to watch “real people” do crazy stunts for money. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the Benjamin’s just like everyone else. But to watch some fool gulp down a glass of crap that would make even a barnyard HOG turn blue, well, that’s just wrong folks! There are a couple of really cool shows out there. I'm a big time Drama/Action Adventure/Thriller Fan. Right now the women are ruling the roost. Glenn Close in "Damages", and Holly Hunter in "Touched by an Angel" are just outstanding. The Shield was a good show for sure. The West Wing was done very well. Deadwood was stunningly brave and frighteningly real. Lost was intriguing conceptually in the beginning, but now has the flavor of a show trying too hard to stay intriguing if you know what I mean. 24 kicks ass for sure. The Soprano's rocked. Monday Night Football has always been a personal favorite. For the most part Network TV is so cannibalistic and unoriginal. You can see genius of a show when the herd of Hollywood begins to clone spin-offs. When you think Outside The Box, and fail, they crucify you. When you succeed, they rip you off. You can’t win. I'm a big fan of the Discovery Channel, FX, Animal Planet, A&E, TNT and yes, even the reality channel from hell, ESPN. What the heck, I'm a dude that likes sports. So shoot me!!

Heroes
…Anyone that lives life honestly, and gives to others without condition. If that's you, then you are my Hero!!
I'm an Actor, creative thinker and hopeless romantic. As an actor I love to explore why people behave the way they do, say the things that they say, and in many cases, examine the unthinkable behavior that actors must explore. Emotionally dangerous territory is where I seem to excel, at least that's what I have been told by the people that keep hiring me. There's an old saying that says "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree". I'll leave it at that. You see, most folks don't want others to see their emotional baggage, or at best, they share their scars in the privacy of a therapists office. It's safe that way. I've chosen to share mine with the lens of a camera for public display, not out of need for notoriety, but out of a need to release my own personal demons. There is no safety net in front of a camera. No one there to comfort you and say "It's OK". It's horrifying, thrilling, frightening and liberating all in one terrifying moment. It's crazy when you think about it. Everyday people hide their scars, but are fascinated to view others peoples drama. In one way or another, we can all relate to pain, be it emotional or physical. It's the nature of humanity to be curious. We are voyeurs of the highest degree. Most people will work like the devil to keep their demons in the closet, but will pay money to read or watch stories that hit close to home. And as far as I'm concerned, the closer the better. But even then when you give them what they've paid for, and things get a bit too close for comfort, people seem to rebel, shut down or deny their feelings. It's crazy. What's even more interesting, is that I get paid to help tell these stories from time to time. Hopefully by sharing my pains I can bring others pleasure. At least Acting good for something... Here's some thoughts off the top for those who may be interested…
I enjoy spending time with cool people that don't talk nonsense. Creative intellectual conversation that's insightful and funny, not pompous self absorbed babel..... Success breeds Success... Optimism is not a struggle, it’s a mind set........ Don't tell me about what you just did for your self; tell me about what you just did for someone else. It’s far more interesting and says so much more about you........ Conditional relationships are a death trap. It’s amazing what you can learn from people when they don't feel as though you’re trying to get something from them....... Don't crap in your own bed. And if you do, don't bitch about the smell and mess. You craped in it Einstein...deal with it!!..........
Is God in my life? If you mean GOD as in the pagan white dude that Western Civilization has identified as "GOD", you know, the blue eyed blond haired carpenter that was conceived immaculately, then born in a barn, I'm not so sure. Stories are stories. Some are good, some not so good. It's a fantastic story and the overall message is positive. I know a cool cat named Siddhartha G. that has some pretty enlightening ideas and stories too. It’s absolutely the most naive and ludicrous notion that people will kill, fight, manipulate & maim other human beings under the premise of defending a Fictional story book as "The Only Book That Is Correct". They all wash out the same; Christianity, Roman Catholic, Buddha, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Jehovah, Mormon, whatever. Be honest, be good, and treat the world and all its creatures with love. If that's God in my life, then yes…..
I'm a native Californian born in Long Beach, raised in the (805). But the more I meet Real folks from out of state I'm beginning to wonder if that's necessarily something to be proud of........ I used to have dreams of Fame & Fortune. Had a little of each. Both are fleeting, and neither lives up to the expectations. When it’s all said and done, there's just you baby!!... A little Therapy can go along way.......Scared?? Learn to love yourself. I try like hell every day! Today’s been tough. Screw it!! At least I'm honest...........
Try giving a smile and a pleasant word to a total stranger. You might be surprised by their response. If it’s not positive, and you expected more, then you did it for the wrong reasons. Keep learning Grasshopper, the path is long...
