Who I'd like to meet:

"Horseshoes from the Heart" is an organization that began sixteen years ago as the vision of one man and is now the mission of its volunteers; with the assistance of the "Los Vaqueros Rio Grande Trail Riders Association," and other various sponsors, co-organizatonal partnerships. Our truelly dedicated volunteers make it possible for handicapped and special needs children/adults to participate in the traditions of trail rides. This experience gives them the opportunity to interact with history, nature, trail riders, and the animals. We also take our participants on various fieldtrips, thus allowing them the freedom to have life experiances that everyone should have access to. It is always a pleasure providing handicapped and special needs participants with enriching experiences; that might not otherwise be possible. Everyone who participates is able to learn new things while friendship, family, dedication and growth are at our core.
