About me:
Welcome to 979fm's MySpace site
979fm (Trading as 3RIM inc.) was incorporated on 13th September 1985 and has a great history of being a true Community Radio Station, reflecting the community that we live in.
The Radio station is manned and run fully by volunteers from all age groups, backgrounds and ethnicities. We pride ourselves in the variety of our programming.
979fm Studios are located in the grounds of Mowbray College, Centenery Avenue, Melton in the outer western suburbs of Melbourne. Our licence permits us to transmit to the western suburbs of Melbourne, however with our web-link we are now a truly international station transmitting 24 hours a day to all across the globe!
