Band MembersGEORGIE - lead vocals & acoustic guitar. JED - backing vocals & acoustic guitar. RHYS - harmonica. **PLUS** We now also play as a 5-piece band in the bigger venues, with ADAM on drums and DARREN on bass. Hopefully we can do some recording soon and get some mp3 clips on here with the BIG Eranim sound. It rocks!
Influences Life - scary "world leaders", forests, monoliths, grungy venues with HUGE speakers, joy, pain, crap jobs etc etc are the things that influence our song-writing. Our musical influences are a little varied...John Martyn, Jethro Tull, The Black Crowes, Hawkwind, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Malinky, Karine Polwart, Walter Trout, Robin Trower, Baka Beyond, Black Sabbath, Bert Jansch, The Levellers, James Taylor, Dead Can Dance, Melissa Etheridge, Pentangle, The Rolling Stones, All About Eve, RL Burnside, John Renbourn, Martin Simpson, The Alabama 3, Hazel O'Connor, Paul Weller, Banco de Gaia, Santana, Eva Cassidy, John Mayall, The Waifs, The Ozric Tentacles, Blues Traveller, Richard Thompson, Government Mule, Breaks Co-op, Tracy Chapman, Porcupine Tree, Jack Johnson, KT Tunstall, Fleetwood Mac (early & present), Deep Forest, Enigma, AC/DC (early), Kiss (that is ONLY Rhys - ENTIRELY his responsibility), Tom Waits and a shedload more!
Sounds LikeErm...have a listen to the mp3 clips - all suggestions welcome!
Record LabelNo, but we like hard work anyway...

   About Eranim
We're 3 chilled out folk who love playing/listening to all kinds of music. We've been out gigging for the last 18 months, playing a lot of folky/bluesy tunes, but we're now focussing on our own material and developing a more distinct style. It's nice to get paid but it's also important to enjoy what you're playing! Our first album is currently in progress and we're experimenting with extended line-ups, so this will hopefully be a very active profile... For a full biography and (almost!) complete gig listings for this year and last, please visit www.eranim.com. We also play as a full 5-piece band, The Dooberies - it's a lot LOUDER!!! Check out The Dooberies Myspace profile too (1st "Friend" on the list below).

Hey folks! The reason nothing is happening on this sadly neglected page, is that it's all happening over here with the 5-piece band! We haven't given up on Eranim, but as we're just about to launch THE NEW DOOBERIES ALBUM "OMENS" we've been rather busy with other things! Pop over to have a listen and say hi...

Hi both

I've you noticed a myspace support button which you cannot get rid of on both of my sites and I noticed it was on yours also. They have disabled the contact box as well!!
I have found the only way is to remove the layout (which we both like !!) Don't try reinstalling the same thing happens.

If you need to go to home just type home in the search bar.

All the best

Neil

Out Of The Gray

Hi Eranim :)
We've been working hard and have big plans for 2007 - we're recording in March and will be touring a new mini-album across the UK from 20 April to 6 May. The gig details below.

We really want to tour for our friends. We'd love to hear from you if you'd like to get involved in the tour. You may be able to help us advertise the gig as part of the OOTG streetteam. Or if you want to help design the album or posters. Or if you're in a band and would like to get a gig on the tour - email us and we'll pass on your details to the promoter (NB: only if you think you'll 'fit' with our sound :) ). Even if all you can do is lend some moral support we'd love to here from you. Check out our Tour blog for details on how to get involved and hopefully we'll be playing near you soon. Thanks for your time :)

Georgie, I see what you mean!

Thanks for the boost with the Woodlark, it's going to be a lot of work but we're looking forward to the challenge! You've been in my top friends since we were... well friends!
You're also in the top friends for the club so a bit of publicity for you in return!
My sister received the appropriate rollocking for dragging me out of the Poets, although I feel that her having to stand about in the snow blizzard was sufficient to put the balance right!
