About me: Nu Alpha Kappa is a Latino-based fraternity which encompasses and values all cultures. Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. was established February 26, 1988 at the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo by 11 men. Since our founding Nu Alpha Kappa has become one of the leading Latino Greek organizations on the West Coast. Nu Alpha Kappa is a familia that extends further than San Luis Obispo. We are comprised of twenty chapters representing some of California's, Nevada's and Colorado's most prestigious private and state funded universities with a membership of over 2000 strong.

On March 3rd, 2009, Jeanette Martinez, a sister from CSUMB, was tragically involved in a car accident in which she lost her life. We, the sisters of Sigma Theta Psi, ask you to please help us out in this time of need. Any donation you can make would be greatly appreciated.
Our Northern Region, along with the gentlemen of Sigma Delta Alpha, will be hosting The Luck of The Sigmas on Friday March 13th at Empire Night Club located in Downtown Sacramento all of the proceeds collected by Sigma Theta Psi will go to the Martinez family for funeral expenses.
