About me:
Hi, my name is Barry. I have spent the last six years traveling around the US with an ex-partner in a R. V. We started an Ebay store to help pay for our travels while doing something that I have a true passion for. Men's vintage fashion. I started wearing it when I was a teenager as a way to add something different to my wardrobe from what was being offered in the suburban malls.
I have recently relocated myself to San Francisco. I have closed down the Ebay part of the business, but continue to concentrate my efforts on my web store Gypsy Wear Vintage . I specialize in men's fashion from the 40's threw the 70's with the occasional really special 80's piece. So whether your trying to relive a period in history or just add a little umph to your contemporary wardrobe. I can help.
One feature I have added to my site is a growing collection of reprinted fashion articles and adds from vintage men's magazines. I felt that every time you search for vintage clothing info you can find a ton of images of vintage dresses and Vogue covers but very little relating to the history of men's fashion. Unfortunately I came down with the stomach flu this week. So was a little late in getting new items added.But I think it was worth the extra couple of days wait.I have a couple of amazing 50's pieces and plenty of new fun Mod ones this week
My favorite one this week is a Rockabilly wet dream
It's a two tone with a twist. The darker blue area is overlaid with a flowery lace. Only a real Rockabilly Man can get away with this one.
