Well, I am pretty easy going, and love to do all sorts of stuff. I guess what I love most, is going out 4 wheeling and seeing all of nature. I love camping and hiking. To me, serenity is sitting in a remote area, by a campfire telling stories with my friends, and enjoying some BBQ and a beer.
I love cooking and trying new foods. A lot of my evenings are spent in the kitchen cooking, or outside grilling. I am outside at the grille at least 4 times a week, haha.
Another way I love to waste time is by sitting on the couch watching movies. I absolutely love comedies, but will watch just about anything. I will also practice playing my bass guitar when I have the time...I am not that good, but I will keep at it. I would love to find some peeps to jam with.
Xbox has been a good time-killer too lately. I go thru phases where I need to play games... other times, the Xbox will stay off for a couple months.
Music
I like to listen to whatever my mood dictates. My CD and MP3 library consists of everything from rap to country to classical. My favorites are Mudvayne, Godsmack, Blink 182, 311, The Beatles, and Nickleback. There are TONS of others, but I find myself cranking these bands alot in the truck.
I listen to XM radio in the truck... fav' channels are 16, 22, 46, 49, 66, and 150.
Movies
I am a pretty big "movie buff," and love all types of movies. Much like my music, it all depends on what I am in the mood for... I would have to say that I find myself watching comedies more than anything, but love a good action flick or even a drama. Some of my favs are Road Trip, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, all three Indiana Jones movies. Star Wars is another anthology that I can easily sit down to.
Television
Futurama, Family Guy, Simpsons, and King of the Hill... I do enjoy the Discovery Channel as well as PBS or the History Channel... I like the documentaries. I've found a new show on the Sci-Fi Channel called "Ghost Hunters." Check that one out ;)
About me: I have a 1999 Nissan Frontier that I have been working extensively on. It started as a little 2wd truck, and I have built it up to what it is today... Check out nissan4wheelers to see my truck build, as well as many others' projects. This is my main hobby; ask my wife, and it's an obsession. I love fabricating bumpers, sliders, etc, and almost any opportunity I have, you will find me in the garage, making pretty blue light with the welder. ;)
I've been married for 8 months now (wow), to a beautiful wife, who is an inspiration to me. If I said everything is great, I'd be lying... it's fantastic! As a married couple, we grow stronger all the time, and I am realizing how kick ass she really is. She means everything to me, and I truly value the time we spend together. I've been learning alot about myself too... like how I love to leave dirty clothes all over the place, haha. Apparently, that makes people mad.....
We've been working on improving our new house...damn, already a year and a half since we moved in. Crazy.
Let's see... Oh, I have a black Lab/Retriever mix, that we've named Bettis. He just turned 15 months old in May. Also, we have two pain-in-the-ass cats. Sometimes, I hate those fawkers, but oh well. Their names are Crawford and Zoro.
I guess that just about sums it all up... in a nutshell. You have anymore questions, just ask, haha.
Who I'd like to meet: I would love to meet people that don't suck... just kidding, but seriously.
It seems there are alot of people out there now that are just in it for themselves, and they don't care about you or your feelings/beliefs... those people suck.
I'd like to meet some peeps that have similar interests - wheeling, camping, fishing, etc. I am in the process of buying a mountain bike soon, and am looking forward to getting back into riding.
Got that going real nice man!! Been a long time!! Life is so crazy right now, sorry. No toy right now. Just the stock ford diesel. I wanna get another yota but we will see! Hit me up!
Dude, what's shakin?! Haven't heard from you for a bit, so figured I'd holla out to ya. We got a ZJ, but no major mods planned for her, yet...Brain's been working a bit of overtime on that one.
Sounds good, is the other project done too? You'll have to let me know next time you're going out and have an open seat. And we need to work out some range time.
