99 Soul's is an all-original groove/rock/metal band based in Kewanee, IL featuring slow churning grooves, clean melodies, and elements of hardcore and thrash.
99 Soul's has assembled some of the best of the best of the area's musicians to form an intelligent, listenable band with exciting stage presence and a magnetism that cannot be escaped. Vocalist/guitarist Barcode, guitarist Mike Smith, bassist Jason, and drummer Jay Adkins all bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the band.
99 Soul's prides itself on having an identity separate from other "local" bands. The band doesn't limit themselves to reaching the brutal, crushing tones they are capable of, but instead combine those hardcore elements with emotional, clean vocals and melodies one could call "soulful".
