9 Days Down have been active on the scene for the better part of 3 years but have only recently been making noise in the scene.
The bands roots are traceable to August 2005 where the complete band (consisting of Tyler, Bushman & Sharky) auditioned Grant. From the offset they gigged hard and constantly, which in turn whipped up a good sized following of true metal fans and friends that all equally appreciated the honest metal and exhausting live performance the band portrayed.
2007 saw them release their debut album "A Sign of Things to Come" through Transcend Media Group. Recorded by Luke Rayner @ Kastle Studios this 9 track album boasted original tracks and was released on a magnificent scale into HMV & Zavvi stores nationwide as well as itunes, wippit and most downloadable sites.
October 2007 saw Bushman walk away from the 9DD camp, this alongside having a big headline London show pulled from under their feet and parting ways from their label left the band high and dry. Instead of giving up which was the easiest option. The remaining 3 members soldiered on and recruited 2 new members. Jed Sharpe (Additional guitars) & Joe Joskow (Bass).
9 Days Down were resurrected and with a bout of fresh life continued on their journey.
April 2008 saw the band team up with long time friend and producer Ville Urilla to record the follow up to their debut in the form of the "...Nothing Less Than Victory..." E.P. It sounded like the true British Groove Metal sound the band are known for, but had progressed into something far more heavier yet melodic.
Having won over most audiences with their live show in recent years. The new live show is set to blow the crowd out of the water.
