Born in Plainfield New Jersey then we , moved from there to the Bay CA where I first heard Hip Hop Music. The two famous songs that played on KSOL everyday was the SugarHill Gang and Planet Rock. I was fortunate enough to meet the late Marvin Gaye while he was alive shortly after my mother got sick we moved to Greensboro N.C.. I started out breakdancing and battled everyday at school then I learned the art of scratching. I ended up breaking several needles on my mothers turntables scratching her old records, then I saved money from cutting lawns to go to the pawn shop and buy two turntables and a mixer not the 1200's but some technic's.
From Junior High school to Senior High I started to DJ house partys, talent shows at school, and college and club partys. During that time the Busy Boys who were signed to Payroll records was the local hot Hip Hop group and I learned allot from them becouse they would open up for all the artist who toured, and they later went on to produce for Jay Z, Beyonce, Micheal Jackson, 50Cent, (Ski Beatz, Fanatic). In 1987 allot of neighborhoods that was projects and gang infested turned into dope houses and crack spots. I got heavily involved in the street game in which I left N.C and moved to South Central LA and started that BIG PUSH, dealing with the notorious Blood and Crip gangs in the street game and later , moved to Brazil.
I returned to what I knew most and love which was music. I wanted to produce because I had a ear for the music and was familiar with allot of records I use to spin. So I formed my group 9th Brigade which consist of me 99Beatz , KC from Kansas City Kansas, and Jerl the Pearl the singer who is from Memphis. .
