Let me set the scene for you. Small town with little hope. People busying themselves around the local shopping centres, going about their day to day routines, finishing at 5 to come home to a lonely home of eastenders or corrie and getting pissed on the weekend. Time ticks by and these local lancastrians age, and wrinkle and eventually die.
But wait, all is not lost. For you see there is one thing in this dreary town, one thing keeping the dreams alive, keeping chins up, spirits high and jizz in pants. A48 baby! For once you are captivated by this epic wave of sound, then nothing can be wrong in the world, for there is only light.
As the wonderful fans que outside an old battered venue, the 48 are indoors plugging in guitars, screwing on cymbals, one twoing microphones and styling hair. As soon as the crowd flood to the front of the stage, maxwell clicks in and it begins, there is nothing else in the world, but a48.
So we will watch the sun, we'll forget everyone is watching, forget everyone is listening. We will watch the sun, and forget everything thats happened cos the night before is just another lost memory.
