A.D.H.D. is a band from L.A. and they look like a bunch of dirty rock and roll pirates. They’re greasy, tattooed, and hard looking, and they had all the hot chicks right up front and drooling. They finish their intro and launch into their first song and the singer bounces out into the open and he looks like a testosterone version of Olga from the TOY DOLLS, with matching white sunglasses and white shoes. Full of swagger and attitude, this maniac leads the band through a monster of a set which would give bands like ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN, THE HUMPERS or the NEW BOMB TURKS a run for the money. I was seriously impressed. He spit, jumped and did the worm all over the dirty floor, and sounded great doing it. The rock and roll junkie guitar player was laying down these fat, sleazy THIN LIZZY meets BLACK FLAG riffs while the singer danced around everywhere (and sounding good while doing it), and the bass player stood on the stage with the drummer and just glowered at everyone while slamming down the bass riffs. And the drummer is a monster. Seriously. He’s a big guy, covered in tattoos and just pummels his drum kit with no mercy or worries whatsoever. I stood there hyped at how hard he was hitting. Wow. A.D.H.D. took almost no time in between songs, just commencing into one kick ass tune right after another. Guys were slamming, girls were dancing, and everyone was loving what A.D.H.D. was giving out. This band puts on a hell of a show, and they are definitely worth checking out if you have any good taste in music whatsoever….They were seriously that good.
Awesome show at Kensington last night!!! You fucking ROCKED MY SOCKS!!!!!!!! So much fun dancing to your music. It was a first time for me hearing your music but now im hooked!
