Biografy - English
The duo Atlantic Tribe, formed by DJ’s and producers Joal and Gas, has born in 2005, between Lisbon and the Azores. They are identified with sound between tribal and progressive, always trying, from music to music, to add something new to the already found into the national and international dance scene. Gas has about 9 years of experience as DJ, and has already shared his studio with national and international famous DJ’s. Joal, on his turn, was born in the Azores in 1984 and in 2005 moved to Lisbon, to study audio to develop his knowledge on this wide subject, and also to improve his productions. After two years of existence, 2007 has been the year set for the major projects to come to life. Dasound Reacords (BR) has edited their remix for the theme “Heart of Africa” by Hugo Rizzo, and the duo has signed their original track “Deep insde” on Tanira rec. (PT) and the track “This Frequency is” on Escuro rec. (USA) , ”FC Nond - Citrus ( Atlantic tribe mix)” on DISTINTO REC.(SP) , the Originals ”COME CLOSER” and ”SWEET THING” in label HFRECORDINGS (PT) and RMX to " Valerio - Shakara (Atlantic tribe mix) soon in MAGNA REC. (PT) , the Originals ” DANCEFLOOR ZOO ” in label TANIRA REC (PT), and ”SHAKE IT” in SESSION TRAX (JPN) realese soon. Biografia - Português
A dupla Atlantic Tribe, composta pelos Dj’s e produtores Joal e Gas, nasceu em 2005 entre Lisboa e os Açores. Identificam-se com sonoridades entre o tribal e progressive, tentando sempre, de música para música, acrescentar algo de novo ao panorama já existente da dance scene nacional e Internacional. Gas conta com 9 anos de experiência como DJ, tendo já partilhado cabine com grandes nomes do djing nacionais e internacionais. Joal, por seu lado, nasceu nos Açores em 84 e em 2005 mudou-se para Lisboa para se inscrever num curso de áudio de modo a aprofundar os seus conhecimentos nesta vasta matéria e assim melhorar o nível das suas produções.
Consolidada a dupla que conta com dois anos de existência, 2007 mostrou ser o ano do despertar onde editam pela Dasound records (BR) o seu remix para o tema Heart of Africa de Hugo Rizzo, e assinam os temas originais pela Tanira rec. (PT) Deep inside e pela Escuro rec. (EUA) - This Frequency is , ” FC Nond - Citrus ( Atlantic tribe mix) ” na conceituada label DISTINTO REC.(SP) , os Originais ”COME CLOSER” e ” SWEET THING ” na label HFRECORDINGS (PT), e o RMX " Valerio - Shakara (Atlantic tribe mix) " para breve na MAGNA REC. (PT) , os Originais ” DANCEFLOOR ZOO” na label TANIRA REC (PT), e ” SHAKE IT” na SESSION TRAX (JPN) .
