About me: A native Chicagoan who spent his youth on both the north and south sides of the city. Aaron Foster graduated from a high school quoted by former president Ronald Reagan as “The most diverse environment I ever saw”. (Chicago Sun- times September 1985). Aaron Foster later graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana with a BA in Communication. Then he discovered his love for comedy as an employee of the nationally recognized All Jokes Aside Comedy Club in Chicago, and has been performing since 1997.
A Zanies- comedy club regular 2004 Aaron participated in the Chris Farley foundation, a well know Madison, Wisconsin fundraising institution for alcohol and drug abuse. In 1998-99 a participant in Canadian Mist, the Bud Light, and the Miller Genuine Draft comedy competitions. Aaron is also, designated as a member Heffron Talent agencies staff of comedians as well as other agencies, he travels the country honing his craft. Winner of the Salem Orb-E Future Faces Competition in October 2000, Aaron was awarded the opportunity to open for the Grammy-nominated singer Jill Scott at Chicago's premier hot spot, The Metro. Achievement?: In an outstanding display of talent Aaron was semi-finalist (Chicago area) in the NBC based "Last Man Standing" comedy competition and search. (thousands of participants).
Aaron is a prolific writer and has been published in many print and internet-based newspapers. One of his many acheivements was in co-creating the 1998- Year Around Chi-town Comedy Celebration. Also a participant of the Atlanta-based LaffaPaloosa 2001 Comedy Showcase. As the achievements stack high the comedian appears as headliner, feature and host of many premiere venues. Aaron is comedic host and co-promoter of Congress Theater (seats 2900)– Chicago events.
His television appearances include NBC’s Starting Over, ABC’s My Life as a Sitcom, The Joe Martin Show and Chicago based television program, “Ben Around Town.” Aaron has been described by fellow comedy circuit regulars as “An artist who possesses that rare ability of bringing the gift of laughter to a diverse crowd.” “Funny is Funny and that is color less”, states.

In an interview with the talented entertainer, the Chicago Defender asked the artist, "Is laughter the key to breaking down still existing racial barriers?” Foster answered, “It can help.” Among other entertainment stops Aaron can be seen currently as a host and performer at the weekly venue, Comedy at Joe's, located at 904 West Weed Street in Chicago.
