ABRI is a four piece soul/indie band, formed in Dubai. Like everyone else in the UAE we are absolutely loaded. We drive to rehearsals in our customised Rolls Royces, our singer Hamdan has a solid gold microphone, and we often throw diamonds into the audience at our gigs. Our debut CD is about to come out and

The Dubai-based band is built on the soulful union of vocalist Hamdan Al Abri and keyboardist Julian Symes, and is fleshed out with the musical styling of bassist Rami Lakkis and drummer Andre Atherley.
Powerfully distinctive, the full extent of ABRI's talent is showcased on the band's debut album, Sunchild, released on November 1st, 2007. The album's 10 compelling tracks take listeners on a musical and lyrical journey, exploring real world issues that face us all.
