Fred Rucker has performed for over 35 years throughout America and lives in Oklahoma City today. He plays a 1967 Gibson J-45 for live performances.The guitar reflects the wear and tear of the Rocker's travels thru the nation sharing his songs. Freddie has played redwood forest logger's bars and North Beach , San Francisco bistros.Lake Tahoe local music back in ..74. He has opened shows for John Sebastian,& Ray Wiley Hubbard. Freddie performed with Scott Crawford & Bob Powers at the Prairie Lady in OKC, and performed in the trio Magic Minstrel in 1976. He started a successful open mike night in OKC in the late 70's at the Orange Blossom. In 1980, Freddie met members of Little Feat and Garth Hudson of The Band at Fidelity Sound Recorders while singing with Willie Ray Guy.In 1983 Freddie was cast as Joel in the musical play"The Book Of Joel" by the late OKC playwright Bill Faulk. He has performed with OKC musicians like Mark Galloway, Scott Crawford, Danny Hackney, Terry "Big Daddy" McCann, James Coffey, Jeff Wilder, Petra Cox, Bob Moore, Jerry Steagell,Mark Kennedy,Jerry Sharp and more, from fireside to ocean side.
