At the age of 12 Baxter discovered his love for music and it's ability to provide uncountable challenges. Though he was only playing trumpet at the time, the real burt of musical excitement came when he was 15 when his father, Steven, came home with a red Mansfield electric guitar with the words "Happy Birthday Adam" written on the box.
From here, Baxter started studying guitar and jazz theory with Nova Scotia's Tim MacNeill, who would go on to form the nationally acclaimed pop rock group Arlibido.
In 1998, after playing in a few punk rock bands, Baxter and friends then formed the Lewinskys. The Lewinskys were a strong force in the Nova Scotian pop Punk scene from Early 1999 to fall of 2000. They earned oppertunities to open for such bands as Chixdiggit, The Riff Randels, Horrace Pinker, and even the Young Offenders.
After the demise of the Lewinskys, Baxter still had a strong love for song writing. Though he had never sang he soon realized that just writing and playing chord progressions wasn't cutting it. The work then began.
