Gli Add with Carry nascono nel gennaio 2007 dall’incontro dei tre componenti; Sinto( Alessandro Sintini) voce, chitarra e basso, Rez ( Yuri Ricci) alla batteria, Zarco ( Zarco Bianchi) alle tastiere.
Lo sviluppo concettuale dal quale parte il progetto musicale è un libro/idea scritto dal cantante tra il 2004 e il 2005. ( Da qui la creazione del concept album.)
Il libro raccoglie i pensieri e l ‘emozioni vissute dal “protagonista” nel corso di “ un’estate particolarmente significativa”; pensieri ed emozioni che si trasformano in musica e che diventano la voce di una sensibilità nella quale l’ascoltatore può ritrovare anche se stesso.
Il genere del gruppo scaturisce dall’ interazione delle influenze musicali dei componenti al fine di creare un’espressione artistica del tutto nuova.
Si passa dalla passione per i virtuosismi di musicisti quali Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman e Jon Lord a quella per i Black Sabbath per i Blink 182 e per
i Nirvana, ma la vera passione è quella per la “Musica” e per la sua creazione artistica.
Quello che viene a crearsi è un rock alternativo che nasce dall’ unione dell’ hard rock del passato al moderno punk rock e al progressive determinandone un genere chiamato powerpop.
L’aspetto della band che colpisce maggiormente è comunque la capacità di coinvolgere ed emozionare il pubblico con le loro performance, attitudine sviluppata anche grazie all’esperienza su palchi importanti.
Gli Add With Carry hanno partecipato al S. Remo Rock Festival 2007, al Tour Music Fest 2008 (Roma), selezionati per la semifinale del Village Music di Forlì insieme ad altri artisti italiani, alla seconda edizione “Gocce di musica” organizzata dall’ Avis, al V° Lugalive aggiudicandosi il secondo posto come band esordiente (il premio come miglior strumentista al tastierista Zarco).
Infine, hanno affermato il loro successo di pubblico aggiudicandosi il primo premio al concorso dei “Magazzini Sonori” indetto dalla regione Emilia-Romagna che li ha portati ad esibirsi al M.E.I di Faenza (2008), decretandosi così miglior band esordiente della regione.
“Add With Carry” was born in January 2007 due to the 3 members meeting: Sinto (Alessandro Sintini) voice, guitar and bass, Rez (Yuri Ricci) drums and Zarco (Zarco Bianchi) keyboards.
A book/idea, written by the singer between 2004 and 2005, is the conceptual development their musical project starts from (from that the concept album creation).
The book collects thoughts and emotions of the “main character” lived trough “a quite meaningful summer”; thoughts and emotions converting into music and becoming a sensitivity spokesman where the listeners can also discover himself /herself.
The musical kind of the group originates from the interaction of musical influences of the 3 members in order to create an artistic expression completely new.
They pass from the passion for virtuosity of musicians such as: Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman and Jon Lord to that one for Black Sabbath, Blink182 and Nirvana; but their real passion is for “Music” and its artist creation.
What they can create is an alternative rock which comes out of the past hard rock unity with the modern punk rock and progressive defining a kind called powerpop.
The band aspect that strikes more is, however, their ability to involve and excite the audience, ability developed thanks to their experience on important stages as well.
“Add With Carry” took part in S. Remo Rock Festival (2007) and Tour Music Fest (2008) in Rome, selected for the Village Music semi-final in Forlì together with other Italian artists, in the second edition “Gocce di musica” organized by Avis, in 5° Lugalive winning the second place as a beginner band (Zarco, the keyboarder, got the first prize as the best instrumentalist).
Finally, they have stated their public success winning the first prize at the contest of the “Magazzini Sonori” organized by Emilia-Romagna region leading them to perform at M.E.I. in Faenza (2008), becoming the best beginner band in the region.
