Over cups of tea, stacks of cardboard, and piles of scrap metal, Adelaide Windsome fervently builds tiny heads and arms and creates paintings of various creatures and imaginary, yet nostalgic landscapes. Most of this never leaves her floor, but what crawls from the wreckage becomes epic, tragic and delightful stories told through puppets and her ukulele. Adelaide is currently based in Philadelphia where she is an art teacher and street performer and studies street art, activism and public identity. About FTM Book Vol. 1 FTM Book Vol 1: A Basic Introduction to Transman Life is an easy-to-understand, yet comprehensive primer on FTM issues such as:
What is an FTM? How do FTMs see themselves? Appearance Stages in Transition Surgeries Available Common Personal Histories Violence Discrimination Health Issues Counseling Relationships Common Legal Issues
We've worked hard to help create definitions that will help you talk about trans issues with others, including terms for body parts unique to the FTM and by naming the stages of transitioning. This book is great for anyone who who is having trouble understanding the lifestyle or choices of a transperson. When we first began dating, we were shocked that there was no one place that he (Aaron) could turn to show me (Crystal) "See, this explains what being an FTM means." We hope that this book will be a good start.
Best of all, when you order FTM Book Vol. 1: A Basic Introduction to Transman Life you can feel good knowing that sales of the book are being used to fund more research to help FTMs and their partners get through the challenges of their lives. This is a great book for youself and for anyone you know who could use a little more understanding. Also, you can help teach others about trans issues by donating copies to your local high schools, colleges, LGBT centers and libraries.

About this page: I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D
Let us imagine this comment were weightless, Carried along by a snail in a sundress, Given, quite lightly, to fleet-footed mice, Then transferred hands to a finger-device, Shaped by a man who, obsessed with his digits, Daring, decided what he should do with it— He mailed this comment out just like a letter, Which did arrive to me rain-soaked (much wetter), Than when first given to rodent-like hands, Such is the way love finds transit through lands! Yet, now dear Reader, we’ve come to the moment When you shall thus receive this road-worn comment, Thus, I do hope you appreciate care, Slow-style delivery (and some slight wear!).
In appreciation of long-traveled correspondence and new e-friendship!
I'm so excited that you are coming here!!!!!!!!!! We should plan a super secret afterparty at my house! YES! Please puppets please. Ah how I miss you sooooooooo!
