Alisa Apps
Born in the spring of a Roman Catholic mother and a jewish father who divorced when she was 6, Alisa is no stranger to conflict and turmoil. Music was in her blood. Her mother had dreamed of being an opera singer, her father, with a fine voice enjoyed entertaining others by singing popular songs of the day. Her great Uncle, Morey Feld had been a jazz drummer for the greats, including Benny Goodman, Bobby hackett and Billy Butterfield. From a small child, Alisa sang. She sang to make herself feel happy, to console herself, to feel free.
Needing braces 3 separate times, she grew interested in dentistry and started pursuing studies. A hard worker, she was putting herself through college, and doing well in her courses but her heart wasn't in it. Then she met her manager who recognized her talent and gave her the necessary support to follow her passion. From that point on there was no stopping her. Alisa trained as an athlete, taking no days off, pouring heart and soul into the struggle to reach the standard of perfection she set for herself.
You will find evidence of her strong will and determination in her extraordinary songwriting ability; which she only started 3 years ago. She says "I only want to write music that will live for eternity". Listen to her music and you will be turned on and mesmerized by her provocative vocal style and truly unforgettable live performance. She leaves you with feelings of excitement and sexual energy, wanting more and more of her. Today, she sets her own rules and is pioneering new ways of marketing her music. A multifaceted person, with integrity and god given talent she is following her mission to give hope and emerge victorious while having lots of fun fun doing it!
