I'm into a lot of things, I was a tomboy growing up so I love to fish, hunt, hike, get dirty and drive big trucks. I also love going to Stone Country to linedance, but Brad hates to dance so we haven't been there in forever. I like watching football (Go Packers!), going to baseball games (Atlanta Braves Rock!) and hockey games (Go Rivermen!)!!!
I love to write! I'm trying to finish a few romance novels I've been working on for forever. I'm also working on a children's book. Maybe one day you'll see my name on the New York Bestseller's Lists!
Music
I love to sing! I'm in the church choir and have sung at a few weddings. My family seems to think I need to audition for American Idol, but I think it would make me feel like a sell-out. We'll see.
I listen to just about everything but I don't really appreciate Rap music. I won't down it though, there are some really good rap and R&B songs out there, it's just not my kind of music.
My favorites are Country, Rock, Christian and Blues. Favorite singers include: Garth Brooks, Martina McBride, Nora Jones, Nickelback, Evanescence and Little Big Town.
Movies
I love so many different types of movies, including (but not limited to)
The Passion, Pride and Prejudice, Black Beauty, The Secret Garden and Accepted (this movie was suprisingly hilarious)
Television
T.V.
Favorite Shows: (also a big mix) American Idol, K-Ville, House Wonder Pets (again, courtesy of my son), Dirty Jobs, American Chopper (a chopper is on our personal splurge list to buy before we're 40), Most Haunted (probably a hoax but a fun show to watch) and Myth Busters.
Books
Books:
All time Favorites: Where the Red Fern Grows, Black Beauty, Sea Biscuit, Harry Potter Series, Earagon, Eldest and anything written by Nora Roberts, JoAnne Ross and Frank Peretti.
Heroes
My husband, Brad is one of my heroes. He works so hard for everything we have and puts up with my never-ending chatter. He loves me no matter how many times I screw up and he loves me for who I am. After five years together, we're still the light in each other's eyes! He's the reason I love opening my eyes every morning and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with this amazing man. I love you, baby, now and always!
My son, Cole is one of my heroes. He's taught me that being a mother isn't as easy as it looks and he suprises me with new and wonderful things everyday. He's the best thing I've ever done and he makes me want to be a better person. He's truly my sunshine!
My daughter, Aubree is one of my heroes. She's taught me how to freely laugh again...She's difinitely brought out the girly, girl in me!
Another one of my heroes are the men and women who serve our country.
Never forget what happened on 9-11 and always remember the FREEDOM we are fighting for.

Thanks to all our soldiers that are serving our country both at home and abroad. Whether I believe in the war we're fighting in or not, I believe in our troops and support them all the way. God bless you girls and guys and come home soon!

Hi!! My name is Amanda from Deer Creek (originally Carlock.)I have been married to Brad for 6 wonderful years. We have a 5 year old son, Cole and Aubree who is almost 2!
It took her 1 1/2 months of practice to finally get it!! She's been rolling around and backing up and yesterday it just clicked: move arm and legs together and poof! Crawling!!
Who I'd like to meet:
I would love to see everyone I've ever known just one more time. There's things I've done in life I wish I could do over. When you grow up you realize how stupid you've been in the past. I think I have a lot of apologies I'd need to make! So since I'll probably never see all those people again. Please forgive me for anything bad, mean or stupid I've done to you.
God this is hillarious. She got it perfectly. It doesn't even matter who you're voting for, this was funny! Politics shouldn't divide our country so much. SNL reminds us to loosen up...after all we are all Americans.
hey! Yeah i dont ever go though unless it is spring break or the summer! I wish we got to see snow! Hunter is doing really good and healing very fast!!!
haha when are they going up there? yeah ive been wanting to go up there to visit but it seems like everyone has been moving to Texas lol...i miss goin up there..
Hows the babies? they look adorable in all the pictures!
A woman has strengths that amaze me, she can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens, she holds happiness, love and opinions. She smiles when she feels like screaming. She sings when she feels like crying. Cries when she's happy, and laughs when she's afraid, her love is unconditional, there's only one thing wrong with her and that is that sometimes she forgets what she is worth.
Pass this onto every beautiful woman you know, I just did.
SO I watched ur videos!!! I'm soooooo sorry I wasn't there!!! But those videos just don't even do u justice girl!!! I wish I could have seen it live! Love you!
Amanda, you're Awesome! I really appreciate that you put my picture up and you said what you did. I've been told that before by a few people and it's probably the nicest thing any one has ever said. Some times I feel like I don't have a lot of friends (cause I never get to hang out with anyone) and I start wondering shit, ya know what I mean? But then I hear people say things like that and it reminds me how many good friends I have. Thanks!
We really need to get together though!! It's just hard because my weekends fill up so fast! Hopefully we'll be able to get together some time in April. Beth and I love to fish too, so we could always bring our pools and get together for a day of fishing!! Let me know ...
