PICK UP OUR CD, "BROKEN," AT NOTLAME.COM. Then when your friend hears it, he's gonna want to borrow it. The problem is, that dude never freakin' remembers to bring anything back. I mean, he's had your collector's edition of Goodfellas for like THREE YEARS. And when's the last time that jack-hole actually picked up a round at the bar? Seriously, how many times can one person "accidentally leave his wallet at home?" Why do you hang around that guy? He's been that way since high school. I mean, ya know, in his defense, there's not a lot you can do with a bachelor's in public relations. Especially not in this market. And that professor really made it sound like he had some useful contacts, but in the end he totally left him hanging. I mean, I'm not making excuses for the guy, but somebody should have warned him that you can't get a job with that crappy degree. Anyway, my point is- when that guy asks to borrow your cd, tell him to get his own at NotLame. Even though HE totally is. Lame, I mean.
A MIC, A LIMEY, AND A WOP WALK INTO A BAR...
Danny Smith (lead voc, keys, gtr) and Taxi (drums,voc) are originally from Atlanta, GA and toured together in a previous band until the wheels rotted off the bus somewhere in the Lone Star State.
They remained roommates in Austin and joined separate touring bands to avoid reality and responsibility.
Overcoming great obstacles (Danny has morbid A.D.D. and Taxi is a control freak/supreme cock ) they started writing songs together that didnt fit their other bands and AMERITRASH was conceived.
After jamming with David Beeson (ld gtr, voc) who had the right haircut and tolerance for alcohol, the project became a band and 5 other Austin bands had to find a new guitar player(Dave is a ho).
The band's sound in a nut shell is pop/rock and wear their influences proudly on their sleeves. You can take the Beatles out of the Kiss Amusement park but you can't take the trailer park out of the girl...or something like that.
The amazing Danny Smith is unavoidably soulful (vocally and multi-instrumentally)in any style of song AMERITRASH performs in their eclectic
set of original music.
Guitarist David Beeson is one of those rare uber-schooled musicians who prefers to be tasteful and/or obnoxious (we suspect Satan is involved).
Taxi plays drums like he's sitting on firecrackers, can sleep anywhere/anytime and the band is proud of him for counting to 4 over and over like he does.
In reference to their live show or the stealing of their backstage deli tray, the band has been quoted...."WE WILL PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE!!!"

I know what you are thinking....what about a bass player! AMERITRASH has decided to use sequenced bass tracks (recorded by Paul Cano) for live situations because they are saving up for a pony.
